In Psalms one hundred and two the Psalmist said, “When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer”, and in chapter one hundred two and verse eighteen of Psalms the Psalmist said, “this shall be written for the generation to come” where we read,
This shall be written for the generation to come:
and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
The verse begins, “This shall be written for the generation to come:” The Psalmist began with the words, “this shall be written” or “this, the record of Jehovah God establishing Zion, appearing in his glory and regarding and not despising the orations of the people there, will be recorded, described with words and inscribed” “for the generation” which means “on behalf of the age, period and posterity” “to come” or “to follow behind, hindermost, subsequent and later”. The Psalmist said the words concerning Jehovah God establishing “Zion” or “Jerusalem” would be recorded for the future posterity and age.
The verse goes on to say, “and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.” The Psalmist continued with the words, “and the people” or “and the human beings whether male or female” “which shall be created” which means “who will exists as shaped, formed, fashioned and made” “shall praise the LORD” or “will make a boast of, commend, act madly, celebrate and adore Jehovah who is the existing One and the proper name for the One True God”. The Psalmist said all the people who are formed and fashioned by Jehovah God would celebrate Him with adoration and boasting.
When we consider the words in this verse, we see how the Psalmist declared that the words concerning Jehovah God establishing “Zion” would be recorded so that future ages would know them, and everyone who was formed and fashioned from that time would give praise, honor and adoration to Jehovah God. God wants everyone to worship and adore Him, and He provided this when He sent His Son Jesus into the world to die on the cross for our sins. When we believe and trust in Him as our personal “Savior and Lord”, He will forgive our sins, grant us everlasting life and allow us to be a part of the people who give Him “praise”.
